Guys,
It is always better to carry AP, in case if no AP, then No need to worry if it is a small duration since the GC is approved.
Even one can enter on valid H1 VISA when his/her own GC is approved as long as the duration between the GC approval and the date of Entry in USA is not too big. couple of weeks of duration is also fine.
I have confirmed this back in 2004 with couple of attorneys including Rajiv Khanna (ImmigationPortal.com).

Working full time on EAD with GC Employer (planning to port job and use AC21 as soon as there is any opportunity)

I read somewhere that the new memo is effective immediately. So you should consult with your immigration attorney soon. You might be able to take advantage of the new memo and get 6 years of H1b.

The processing time for FBI name checks usually take from 30-120 days but timing does vary from case to case. The FBI�s intention is to have all visa requests processed within 120 days. Most name check requests that are over 60 days old are the result of the time required to retrieve and review field office record information. Any case which is not processed within this time frame is usually delayed because of a potential "hit" which will be further reviewed manually.

hey thanks!! Yet to see the copy of denial notice..does anyone knows whether appeal process entitles you to stay legally in US untill the final verdict?? I read somewhere that if your I94 /visa is expired , then the appeal period is illegal!!

My receipt number begins with WAC too and is with the California Service Center with receipt date of Oct. 5. There was pretty consistent movement until Dec. 18 and though their current processing dates show Oct. 15 since then, I have'nt heard anything as yet. Does anyone have any information on this?

Dear All,
1. Can someone please let me know what I should take with me when I meet the USCIS civil surgeon? Who gives the Form - I-693? My lawyer has not attached that form in her mails to me? Does the hospital provide or should I take one with me myself?
2. How is the procedure usually with the USCIS civil Surgeon? What does the surgeon do and how is the examination like?
Please help me understand this process better. I am aware of the vaccinations I should take but I am not aware of the procedure with the surgeons.

H1B LUDs may be due to PIMS data collection, I heard most of the H1Bs approved after Jan 2004 had LUDs and the status did not change; and 140 could be a regular system touch.

That is, at the time of adjudication, the employer should still be willing to offer the same position to me or the current employer should provide a letter indicating the responsibilites in the current job are the same as in the original petition.
If I take another job on H-1B, how does the AC21 rule come into play when I am not on EAD?
Also, if there any rule that you have to stay in the current job responsibilities for 6 months after getting GC?

If I'm not mistaken, PD is only linked to your I-140 receipt notice as it is specifically for labor authorization / certification.
As long as it shows on your I-140, you should be fine.
